man where to start with this zine. warnings first: this zine talks about death and suicidality in particular, and colonial trauma in general. it talks about making work during difficult times between grief, loss and isolation in the pandemic. it discusses MMIWG2S as it relates to growing up along highway 16. it discusses the impact of the findings of the unmarked graves at the kamloops residential school on my art practice, particularly regarding my work, the lowest bar, a large banner that was a part of the Vancouver Triennial, which was coincidentally raised up a few days after the announcement and how it intermingled with the memorial organized on the vancouver art gallery steps by Tamara Bell.

this zine is not light reading, and it is deeply personal; but it's also deeply personal from within the space of working professionally in the art fields, and the audience I hope it reaches is both Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in similar situations; about having to process loss when your livelihood(s) are tied to creative production and managing one's on-going relationship with suicidality.

apologies for the cost on this one; it is ridiculously expensive to print this many pages as it includes a few colour images within, including the aforementioned banner.
